Kodak 16mm Cameras
When one thinks of cameras, likely one of the first companies that comes to mind is Kodak. Kodak was founded in the late 1800s just before the turn of the century. Since then, the company has become a leading manufacturer of cameras and camera accessories.
One of their products is the Kodak 16mm camera. Kodak also offers several different varieties from different manufacturers of the 16mm camera. Just to name a few, Kodak's line of 16mm cameras include the Aaton, the Arri 416, the Arriflex, and the Bell & Howell 16mm Magazine Camera. Each has their own designs and purposes.
The film for the Kodak 16mm cameras take certain type of film. Fortunately, nearly one-hundred percent of the 16mm cameras in use today are capable of using 1R film. So finding the proper film will likely not be a hassle.
Kodak first introduced 16mm cameras in 1923. Originally, the Kodak 16mm cameras were targeted towards amateur users. The 16mm cameras were also the first to use acetate safety film.
